Walking, trekking, hiking,
whatever you want to call it mallorca is made for it!
Its may be difficult to believe that mallorca, host to
over 7 million visitors annually, might be a walker's paradise
but mallorca has walking as wild and remote as anywhere
in Spain. The northern mountain range offers a wealth of
opportunities to enjoy stunning views of rocky peaks and
deep blue seas. The eastern mountain range is not quite
so dramatic but still has quite a few hidden routes where
you can enjoy fabulous panoramic views of the coatline
and the interior of the island. And talking about the coast
there are a number of great walks that lead to some of
the most remote and beautiful beaches in mallorca - a good
example of this are the beaches north of Artá. The
best times of year to explore the island are spring and
autumn when the weather's a littel cooler, but if you don't
mind the heat - go for it!
